Neonatologist Positions
The Longwood Specialty Physicians (LSP), Department of Neonatology is seeking candidates for two full-time clinical faculty neonatologists. These full-time positions include clinical responsibilities in the BIDMC NICU and either the Level IB nursery at BIDMC-Plymouth or the Level 1B nursery at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, with opportunities to teach Harvard Medical School students and fellows in the Harvard Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship Program. The Department is actively involved in clinical research and quality improvement, and is a founding site of NeoQIC, the Neonatal Quality Improvement Collaborative of Massachusetts. Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) is a combined hospital and physician group network comprised of an academic medical center (BIDMC), teaching hospitals, and superb community hospitals, as well as primary and subspecialty outpatient care. The Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) Neonatology Team, comprised of neonatologists, hospitalists and advanced practiced providers collaborates seamlessly to deliver exceptional care for newborns delivered in our six member and affiliate birth hospitals and our level III NICU. With 58 community-based intermediate level beds and 62 level III beds, our robust network allows families to obtain exceptional care close to home with uninterrupted access to more intensive support when necessary. The successful candidate should be board certified or an active candidate for Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine sub-board certification by the American Board of Pediatrics.
