Job Summary

Process and organize customer quotations and inquiries in a timely manner and according to department procedure. Process and enter customer orders accurately and in a timely manner. Stock items should be entered the same day, not to exceed 24 hours from time of order. Production item orders should also be entered within 24 hours, although production orders may require pre-order evaluation according to department procedure. Maintain control and organization of quote and order status from beginning (quote / order) of process until the end (deliver of product). This includes but not limited to related submittals, special price requests, expedites, inquiries, credit holds, orders pending clarification and other issues which may delay quotes / orders. Process credits and RGA's accurately and in a timely manner, according to department procedure. Identify, communicate, and support resolution of problem areas regarding data entry, system error, customer-service issues, customer training issues or other areas that may negatively impact the overall customer service process. Ensure high-level of accessibility to customers, including the handling and processing of a large volume of phone calls or e-mails in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain customer files and data including pricing, contracts, profiles, and open / closed customer orders and requests. Actively acquire and maintain product and system knowledge and updates. Maintain a clean and safe work area. This position requires the ability to work independently or in a team setting. BS / BA in Business or Technical degree preferred or 0-3 years of customer experience, preferable in a related industry. Skills:
