Collaborate with Account Management to sell non-core PBM Products and Services. Engage with the Product and Marketing teams to develop strategic plans to implement new products and marketing campaigns to increase sales. Support and manage the sales process for existing white label clients as needed. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Relationship Building: Continually ensures assigned relationship growth and profitability by developing solid business relationships with prospects in conjunction with existing clients to assist in growth opportunities. Sales Support Strategy: Develops and executes strategies and sales tactics in the following areas: territory planning, pre-request for proposal prospecting, relationship development, pricing, presentation, and delivery as needed. Marketing Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to create customized proposals and marketing collateral for clients. Develop familiarity with potential clients to educate internal stakeholders on the market demands and prospect specific needs. Presentations and Demonstrations: Organize and conduct sales presentations, site visits, and product demonstrations as needed. Attend finalist meetings as needed. Knowledge Management: Maintains a solid knowledge of all MedImpact's offerings and products. Become a subject matter expert and resource for Account Management on non-core PBM products/services. MedImpact Brand: Maintains the positive branding of MedImpact within the healthcare industry. Strategy Development: Organized tailored solutions for upselling to clients. Exercises leadership and demonstrates purposeful planning, works in a positive and motivating way with internal counterparts and external clients. SalesForce Management: Routinely updates SalesForce with key client information and utilizes contact management software to manage pipeline activity and include updates on all upselling activity. Account Team Cross Collaboration: Works in conjunction with the account team to assist with the award of new business and upsell activities, including but not limited to the RFP, pricing process, and client contracting. Market Analysis/Intel: Engage with marketing to provide market intel and market analysis for clients. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory responsibilities: No supervisory responsibilities. Client responsibilities: This is an internal and external client facing position that requires excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills. One must be able to manage difficult or emotional client situations; respond promptly to client needs; solicit client feedback to improve service; respond to requests for service and assistance from clients; meet commitments to clients. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: BS/BA and 9+ years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, and 6 years of SME in respective areas. Computer Skills: Intermediate skills set in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Previous experience with Salesforce is a plus. Work Environment: This position may regularly be exposed to or encounter moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, risk of electrical shock or vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work Location: This position works on-site at the San Diego Headquarters or other company location (or from a remote location with management approval based on business requirements). Must provide adequate support to internal clients; be available for regular interactions and coordination of work with other employees, colleagues, clients, or vendors; as well as be available to facilitate effective decisions through collaboration with stakeholders. Working Hours: This is an exempt level position requiring the incumbent to work the hours required to fully accomplish job responsibilities and reasonable meet deadlines for work deliverables. The individual must have the flexibility to work beyond traditional hours and be able to work nights, weekends, or on holidays as required. Work hours may be changed from time to time to meet the needs of the business. Typical core business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
