Quality Systems Compliance Manager

Regal Rexnord, a leading supplier in the Aerospace industry, is seeking a Quality Systems Compliance Manager for our facility located in Downers Grove, Illinois. This position would report to the Director of Quality and be responsible for ensuring our Quality Management System (QMS) complies with customer, FAA, AS9100, and Nadcap requirements. This will be done through the monitoring of applicable standards and leading the strategic integration of new and revised requirements into the QMS. Directs initiatives to drive a standardized, robust quality management system (QMS) using common infrastructure and information systems throughout the region. Implements standardized systems and methodologies to ensure quality control and quality assurance of the production of products consistent with ISO 9001 or equivalent Standard by performing the following duties personally or through direct/indirect influence. Works with every applicable function within the site to determine the quality objectives in compliance with ISO 9001 or equivalent Standard or as set forth in region and corporate policies and goals. Develops, deploys, and maintains new approaches to systematizing the quality management system to strengthen processes, improve the user interface and simplify procedures. Provides leadership with maintaining the internal and peer audit processes to measure compliance with established procedures. Reviews the design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals, questionnaires/surveys and company quality records when required. Key Accountabilities Monitor and analyze applicable requirements (new and revised customer, industry and regulatory standards/specifications), and assess their impact to the QMS. Develop a strategic roadmap for compliance with these requirements and lead a cross-functional team in the execution of the strategic action plan. Prepare for, organize, and host customer and regulatory audit teams. Report out findings and implement corrective actions as needed. Manage the internal audit process that assures we maintain 3rd-party certifications (e.g.: AS9100 and Nadcap) as well as regulatory requirements. Perform or facilitate the creation, revision, and control of QMS documents such as procedure and work instructions necessary to ensure system compliance. Maintain a library of customer and industry specifications. Communicate relevant changes to the Configuration Control Board (CCB), identify any gaps, and lead improvements in compliance. Facilitate customer and 3rd-party audits. Completion and submittal of customer self-evaluation surveys and desk audits. Review and summarize Quality requirements flowed down on long term customer agreements. Manage and regulate all NADCAP approved special processes to ensure compliance and have a firm understanding of manufacturing chemical processing, NDT, and resistance welding. Job Requirements Capabilities and Success Factors Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering or related field required. A minimum of five years' experience in a quality position preferably with an Aerospace manufacturer Previous experience with AS9100 and NADCAP standards. Prior experience with chemical processing, NDT, welding and heat treatment is preferred Proficiency with Microsoft office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Minimum of an intermediate level user. Previous experience managing cross-functional teams to accomplish complex projects. Detail orientation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to conduct and maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with internal personnel, customers, suppliers and external auditors. Compensation Based on Experience: $95,000
