Senior Infrastructure Service Lead
The Senior Infrastructure Service Lead is expected to be able to provide thought leadership to a team of network engineers and systems administrators spread across the globe, actively identifying opportunities for improvement including innovations aimed at improving the user experience, improving efficiencies, and lowering sustainment costs. Experience supporting DevSecOps-enabled delivery methodologies, technologies, platforms, and/or pipelines is required. Additionally, experience supporting services within the scope of this Task Order for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICs environments and delivering executive-level technical briefings and presentations is necessary. The role is responsible for the 24X7 operations of DIA's Network, including operations, maintenance, sustainment, and availability support; security infrastructure operation and maintenance; incident, problem, outage, and trouble management; data center management; communications security (COMSEC) infrastructure support; providing inputs to the design of the enterprise's network and mission architecture; evaluating network architectures across platforms to ensure alignment to cloud and network modernization strategies, capabilities and requirement sets; and enforcing security best practices and guidelines leveraging knowledge of security policies, network security, and data security. Required qualifications include an active Top-Secret Clearance with a CI Poly, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as data science, statistics, mathematics, or computer science, demonstrated experience in collecting, acquiring, extracting, integrating, inspecting, cleaning, and modeling data with a minimum of five years in data analysis experience, knowledge and experience with data analysis and data technical expertise in data management, engineering, and science, excellent communication, teamwork, leadership and conflict management, and critical thinking skills, demonstrated experience in transitioning applications to IC Information Technology Environment (ITE) and in-depth knowledge of IC ITE services, Certified Cisco Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent, IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Version 4 Foundation and one or more ITIL Practice Manager, Managing Professional, or Strategic Leader certifications towards ITIL mastery, and one or more DoDD 8140.01 (or legacy DoDI 8570.01-M, as applicable) certifications related to performance on this TO. We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Service Lead, responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of an organization's IT infrastructure, to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency's Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III). The Senior Infrastructure Service Lead is responsible for administering, maintaining, supporting, remediating, and available 24 hours per day, seven days per week (24 x 7) to support internal DIA users and external mission partners operating on NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS. Infrastructure will support access to DIA's local special mission partner networks (e.g., JIANT/SOIS, BICES, CENTRIXS, etc.). Supported assets and operations include, but are not limited to, servers, hosting environments, compute, storage, infrastructure, networks, COMSEC, circuits, DevSecOps platforms and pipelines, virtualization (both server and endpoint), and mission operations. Work environment and physical demands include a location in the District of Columbia (DC), National Capital Region with a type of environment that varies, low noise level, and a "normal work hours" schedule of on average 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week within standard operational hours occurring 0600-1800, Monday-Friday, excluding Federal holidays. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs. The amount of travel is 20%. Physical demands include the ability to regularly use hands to handle, feel, touch; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 25 pounds; and up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work authorization/security clearance requires U.S. Citizenship and a TS/SCI, CI Poly clearance.
