Event Bartender
We are looking for a skilled and personable Bartender to join our team at the AC Hotel in downtown Greenville. The ideal candidate brings energy and enthusiasm, creating a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests, while expertly preparing and serving a variety of beverages. This role includes bartending at special events at our exciting new live music venue, Seratonic, as well as supporting other functions and events that require bartending services. Essential Job Functions Greet guests in a friendly and engaging manner. Take beverage orders from guests or servers and prepare drinks accurately and efficiently. Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to established recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, bar equipment, and glassware. Check guest identification to ensure legal drinking age. Monitor guest behavior and alert management to any concerns or issues. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately. Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed. Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines. Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless guest service. Qualifications Knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must have (or be willing to obtain) any required state/local certifications for alcohol service. Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required. Experience/Education Minimum 1 year of bartending experience preferred.
