This role provides financial analysis support for clinical research trials, including related negotiations and budget development. What You Will Do
Develop and assist in negotiations for clinical research budgets including for National Institutes of Health (NIH) and pharmaceutical sponsored clinical trials. Resolve issues related to trial budgets, billing, milestones and related payments. Serve as the budgeting resource for clinical projects and studies. Assist with study feasibility assessment and resource verification. Review payment terms, assist in invoicing studies and document all communications. Assist with presentation preparation. Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree - Required Experience Qualifications
At least three (3) years of financial experience - Required and At least one (1) year of clinical, research or healthcare related experience - Required At least one (1) year of medical coverage (Medicaid) analysis - Preferred Skills and Abilities
Basic knowledge of regulations regarding participant welfare in research including Institutional Review Board (IRB), Food and Drug Administration guidelines (FDA), reporting requirements for adverse events, and elements of informed consent Basic knowledge of clinical regulations and guidelines including the International Conference on Harmonisation - Good Clinical Practices (ICH/GCP) Basic knowledge of research protocols and related government regulations Basic proficiency in clinical trial management system software(CTMS) Intermediate proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong verbal and written communications skills Strong critical thinking / problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal skills Solid organizational skills Solid time management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels To carry out its mission, CHOP is committed to supporting the health of our patients, families, workforce, and global community. Salary Range: $67,500.00 - $86,060.00 Annually Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
