We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduler to coordinate patient appointments and ensure efficient scheduling within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical terminology, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, procedures, and follow-ups. Communicate with healthcare providers to confirm availability and optimize scheduling. Maintain accurate patient records and update scheduling systems. Handle patient inquiries regarding appointments and provide necessary information. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality. Work closely with insurance companies to verify patient coverage when needed. Manage cancellations, reschedules, and urgent appointment requests. Utilize scheduling software to track appointments and optimize workflow. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in healthcare administration preferred). Previous experience in medical scheduling or healthcare administration is a plus.
