Sales Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager
Sales to lead our account management initiatives. This role is responsible for the development and implementation of account management programs while ensuring revenue growth for our laboratory services. You will provide strategic direction and advanced professional assistance to our management team while managing staff and enhancing customer relationships. Essential Functions:
Lead and develop a high-performing sales team, managing hiring, training, performance evaluations, and engagement. Drive business growth through new client acquisition, implementing pricing strategies, and effectively managing surcharges. Manage and refine account management programs to achieve operational success and align resources with strategic goals. Advise and support the development of strategies and policies related to account management. Conduct operational reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Communicate effectively to manage expectations of various stakeholders, facilitating customer needs and measuring performance metrics. Resolve complex account management issues and oversee successful outcomes. Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and expenditures. Participate in special projects and contribute to organizational improvement by staying informed on industry trends and regulations. Qualifications:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Chemistry, Operations, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Continued employment is contingent upon all required licenses and certificates being maintained in active status without suspension or revocation. Valid Driver's License. Required Knowledge and Skills Strong understanding of account management principles and practices. Experience in team development, motivation, and managing in a collaborative environment. Familiar with budget administration and applicable laws and regulations related to account management. Proficient in computer applications related to sales and account management. Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present effectively to diverse audiences. Physical and Mental Requirements: Ability to work in an office setting, including the use of standard office equipment. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds and maintain stamina for extended periods of sitting. Working Environment: This position is primarily office-based but requires travel as needed.
