Next Steps Full-time / On-site Reports to: Dickson City Campus Pastor Direct Consultant: Central Director of Next Steps Hours Commitment: 40-45 hours per week with regular weekend responsibilities. Primary Responsibilities:
Direct energy and effort towards bringing the second part of our mission statement to life by helping people together fully follow Jesus. Develop leaders to own the four main avenues of Next Steps (Groups, Milestones, Guides, Community Impact). Be a visible presence at your LCBC campus, connecting with first time guests and attendees during weekend gatherings. Develop strategies to empower and activate people to greater levels of ministry ownership and wholistic leadership capacity. Identify and develop leaders for Group environments. Manage Care Ministries systems for your LCBC campus, participate in overseeing the Pastoral Response Team (PRT) rotation, Benevolence Team and the development of chaplains-on-call. Create and sustain easy on-ramps for serving opportunities to achieve 50% of adult attendees at your campus serving in some capacity. Ensure First Steps Classes are scheduled each month, content and blueprint is followed, and participate in teaching Next Steps classes. Work with other ministry directors to ensure our baptism pipeline is continuously growing with people desiring to take their step of baptism. Oversee and coordinate the Easy To See (local impact) initiative. Duties as assigned by the Campus Pastor. Preferred Education, Skills and Experiences:
Demonstrated experience in a professional, multi-task, and multi-staff environment with track record of successfully accomplishing goals. Strong written and oral communications skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities. Ability to build teams. Ability to vision cast the mission and values of LCBC. High level of professional approach to details with exceptional organizational and time management skills. Be an LCBC Partner or willing to become a Partner within 60 days of employment. Evaluation: The Next Steps Director will meet regularly with the Dickson City Campus Pastor for planning, goal-setting, progress updates, and general coaching. A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed three times throughout the year.
