INTERNSHIP TYPE: Internship - Master's Level HOURS/SCHEDULE: 16 hours/week, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm based on intern availability/needs of program PROGRAM/LOCATION: Adult Outpatient, Manchester CT ABOUT THE PROGRAM: ADULT OUTPATIENT The Adult Outpatient services provide psychiatric & substance abuse diagnostic evaluation and treatment. Services include assessment, consultation, individual, couples, group, family treatment and medication evaluation and monitoring AGENCY OVERVIEW: Community Health Resources is the most comprehensive, non-profit behavioral healthcare provider in Connecticut, offering a wide range of personalized services for children, families and adults whose lives have been touched by mental illness, addiction or trauma. PROGRAM OUTLINE: By participating as a Master's Level Intern with CHR, you can expect to gain firsthand experience and training related to psychiatric & substance abuse diagnostic evaluation and treatment as well as other services, including assessment, consultation, individual, couples, group, family treatment and medication evaluation and monitoring. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Must be enrolled in a master's degree program in mental health field. Experience: Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment preferred but not required. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid driver's license WHY INTERN AT CHR?
