This position will provide you with the opportunity to learn more about the daily life of a teacher and help you decide which age group might just capture your heart! As a support teacher you will have the opportunity to spend time in many different classrooms. You will see how different teachers run their classrooms and could spend time rocking babies or creating masterpieces with pre-kindergarteners. Let your passion for children guide your path and we will happily help you find your way. What Your Experience Looks Like as a Primrose Teacher:

Curriculum provided - With clear daily plans, necessary resources, and support so you can focus your time in the classroom on forming connections with the childrenand spend your time outside of school focused on yourself. Carefully paired co-teacher who complements your teaching style Work with your co-teacher to implement the lesson plans from the research-informed Balanced Learning curriculum. Prepare materials that help children explore their environment through learning activities and active play. Dedicated Education Coach to help you develop your skills and thrive in your role Fully stocked classroom, all materials provided by the school Qualifications:

Must have at least 6 or more Early Childhood Education units with a grade of C or better required. (Child development, Child-family-community, two Curriculum classes) Must have patience and a strong desire to love and nurture young children Work experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred Must meet required state background check Must be able to work on an iPad to enter children's daily logs and write incident reports and messages to parents. Responsibilities:

Engage, interact, and supervise children in positive ways to support their growth and learning Provides an safe, attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and decision-making by the children Plan with the Education Coach and implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule using the Primrose School curriculum outlines and materials Complete, supervise and monitor continual evaluation of each child's developmental needs Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and childcare regulations. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development and classroom activities. Pay based on experience. We may have multiple teaching opportunities in our Infant, Toddler, Two's, Preschool, and Pre-K programs. Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
