Call Center Representative
Work Schedule: M-F, 8a-5p The Call Center Representative works with a team responsible for answering all incoming calls for Georgia Bone and Joint and will either respond directly to the inquiry or will direct the call accordingly. This representative schedules appointments for providers by obtaining the necessary information from the patient in regard to insurance, required personal information, and any prior medical records necessary for the appointment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer service-oriented environment with a high call volume. Organizational skills and ability to multi-task is essential to succeed in this position. The candidate must be able to work independently and make decisions based on training and knowledge, able to tolerate lengthy periods of sitting and repetitive keyboard typing. A high school diploma or the equivalent is required. Epic EMR experience is a plus as well as a background in healthcare.
