Project Manager Job Description
Duties/Responsibilities: This position will handle both administrative and hands-on work while managing construction projects Assist with the job budget and estimate costs Process requested necessary change orders and ensure they are signed and approved by the deadline Manage and edit foreman daily reports Review and approve job billings/invoices Attend pre-con meetings with clients Attend punch list meetings and manage list to completion Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed per job Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards Resolve problems that may arise on-site and be readily available to assist when needed Manage daily and weekly crew schedule Keep management aware of the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularly Required Skills/Abilities: 2-5 years of experience in construction project management Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs A high degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions Strong leadership and management skills Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check About Our Company BlackRock Asphalt Co.
