The Outdoor Ticket Scanner is an essential Woodward Park City's Guest Experience team member, reporting to the Woodward Park City Guest Experience Manager. Successful applicants will spend their day outdoors validating passes at our mountain park and outdoor skate parks. They engage with guests daily to ensure they have a valid ticket and accurate resort information and provide good vibes for all visitors. This team works closely with multiple departments to maintain precise scan results, prevent theft of services, and troubleshoot any access errors promptly and effectively for our guests. Enough free time to enjoy the Woodward lifestyle. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet and engage with every guest. Provide the highest level of guest service to internal and external guests, focusing on providing 100% accurate communication. Scan and visually check every ticket for valid access. Assist in the resolution of guest access issues and the recovery process Ensure consistent daily opening/closing procedures. Enforce ticketing policies and any hotlist/flagged passes. Work with multiple departments to ensure one seamless guest experience. Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and learn new skills. Attention to detail, multi-tasking, follow-up, and accountability. Assists in building and maintaining a safe and presentable work area. Set a positive example and be a role model. Support operations as needed. Preferred Experience/Special Skills Outgoing and friendly personality Previous Guest Service/Customer Service experience Passion for the action sports industry Strong communication skills Strong computer skills Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments and to work as part of a team to achieve goals. Ability to multi-task, remain calm in stressful situations, and work independently with minimal supervision. Basic Requirements: Must be 16 years old or older Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs. Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods. Must be comfortable working in an outdoor all-season environment. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
