Distribution Center Associate

We are currently looking for a Distribution Center Associate in our new distribution centre on 11 Nicholas Ct, South Brunswick, USA. In this role, the worker will assist the warehouse operator to ensure the proper functioning of logistics operations. The ideal candidate is friendly, resourceful, thorough, and attentive to detail. This position represents an excellent opportunity to actively participate in the development of a young Canadian start-up and the creation of a strong customer-centric culture. What You'll Be Doing
Ensure daily core & support activities (unloading containers, receiving, picking, staging, shipping, special orders, quality control, etc.) are completed on time & in full Propose & lead various initiatives and process improvements pertaining to all WH activities Ensure safety measures & warehouse rules are known and obeyed by all employees Take accountability for core & support activities and propose action plans when results are not met Other related tasks We'd Love To Hear From You If You Have
2+ years experience in a distribution centre setting Ability to work physically for extended periods of time: standing, moving and lifting up to 49 lbs (22kg) in variable temperatures Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle, as there is no public transportation to this location Experience in a quality control environment, an asset Attention to detail and ability to follow multistep processes High school diploma or equivalent Eligible to work in Canada Experience in a small team or startups is a plus We Care About You
