Jefferson Health Nurse Coordinator
Primary Function: Organizes and coordinates the scheduling needs of the Nursing Service Organization to provide optimum staffing to all units based on established staffing patterns and available resources. Performs payroll functions and enters schedules within the Kronos system for the Nursing Service Organization. Performs clerical and receptionist duties for the Operations Resource Center. This position requires providing service to the following age population(s) adults in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. Education/Training/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office programs required. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities required. Experience utilizing telephones with multiple lines required. Payroll experience preferred. Experience in a hospital setting preferred. Licenses/Certifications: None Physical Demand Analysis: Physical Requirements: Majority of time during shift spent sitting; standing occasionally; occasional lifting and carrying (no more than 20lbs.) Visual Requirements: Visual dexterity to read small print, handwriting, and computer monitor. Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear normal conversation, phone conversation and low tones. Working Conditions: Ability to interact with all levels of hospital personnel as well as patients and visitors. Can be stressful and fast paced.
