The fast-growing DEPCOM Power O&M group is a collaborative, safety-oriented team that operates our customer's industrial solar power generating sites. The O&M group rounds out the DEPCOM Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) group's capability to give our customers the support they need from designing to the daily operations for industrial solar sites. Lead and develop the regional team of contribution motivated Site Manager & Site Technicians while guiding the team in consistent application of Koch's Principle Based Management philosophy to achieve superior results on seven industrial solar sites. As the business grows be able to develop regional managers to assume higher levels of responsibility. Responsible for overseeing seven O&M sites, high potential to continue to add additional sites. Ability to organize, plan, schedule, and coordinate projects on the O&M sites. Ensure site safety for all personnel and equipment using sound risk-based hazard analysis to manage both personal and compliance. As needed assist in performing testing and troubleshooting for electrical and mechanical systems. Coordinate with original equipment component manufacturers for troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance. Monitor key metrics for industrial equipment like inverters, transformers, and tracker systems for faults and irregularities. Ensure communications onsite including SCADA servers, DAS components, modems, routers, switches, and firewalls are functioning or have repair strategies. Ability to communicate effectively with the customers/project owners. Maintain the customer relationship. Ability to read financial documents to identify areas to reduce potential waste. Experience leading multiple direct reports in a heavy industrial environment or military equivalent. Ability to maintain connection to daily business operations while working remotely. BS in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, or equivalent. Knowledge of Medium Voltage (MV) and High Voltage (HV) power distribution equipment Four (4) years or more experience with PV systems or related power generation equipment. Knowledge of substation maintenance, inverters, trackers, combiner boxes, general cabling, substations, SCADA, controls, DC systems, and wiring & applications Working knowledge of commercial power plant operation Customer facing experience in providing updates, including schedule on field issue resolution and maintenance activities.
