Business Relationship Manager

Heartland Credit Union is looking for a Business Relationship Manager to provide personalized Treasury service solutions. This position will support business members and commercial services staff through various channels by providing expert consultation related to treasury management services. Office hours - Monday- Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Temporarily will work at our Maize Branch located at 3777 N. Maize Road Wichita, KS 67205 and then will relocate to our newest branch located at 27th and Rock Road. Responsibilities for the Business Account Manager: Supports the VP of Business Relationships in ensuring the completion of short and long-term goals for the department. Provides suggestions for improved service delivery and treasury product and service improvements. Seeks new methods to accomplish departmental goals. Tracks workflow. Ensures deadlines are kept and records and loan documentation are complete and accurate. Ensures department functions are completed in accordance with established policies, procedures, program requirements, and related legal standards. Supports the VP of Business Relationships with the implementation of strategies to gain new deposit and treasury services business for specific target markets. Completes activities that help the credit union gain new members including prospective calling, networking, and leveraging existing business relationships. Leads successful achievement of established sales goals. Implements effective sales techniques. Ensures accurate sales records and tracks progress. Supports retail and commercial services staff through various channels by providing expert consultation related to treasury management products and services. Ensures collaboration with commercial lending to analyze member needs and provide consultation on appropriate products and services. Cultivates strong relationships with existing business members, understanding their financial needs and providing personalized Treasury service solutions. Provides consultation to existing business members and potential business members to identify needs, propose solutions to help meet their needs and identify other opportunities. Provides superior customer service to our members. Proactively support and advance HCU's brand platform. Performs all other duties as assigned. Requirements for the Business Account Manager: High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of three years of business deposit services and business development experience preferred. Thorough knowledge of business products, services and loans. Basic business lending knowledge. Familiarity with financial institution branch functions, policies, and procedures. Well organized and attentive to detail. Excellent communication skills. Strong sales/referral skills. Able to operate related computer applications and PC. Stationary for extended periods of time.
