The Customer Service Representative provides first-level support by responding to customer inquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely, accurate, and courteous resolution in line with Greif's service standards. Operating under direct supervision, this role focuses on addressing routine questions, resolving basic issues, and supporting daily customer needs with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities
Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide basic level support and simple information on products or services. Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments. Communicates pricing, shipping dates and appropriate order information to customer to ensure order fulfillment and satisfaction. Contacts customers to respond to simple inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results or any planned adjustments. Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services. Supports inside and outside sales. Updates and maintains files, including data entry. Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the coordinator's knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate colleagues. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience
Typically possesses 0-2 years of experience and a high school diploma. Knowledge and Skills
Good verbal and written communication skills. Good computer skills with the ability to learn new software. Good knowledge of basic office equipment (i.e. copiers, fax machines, calculators, etc.). The pay range for this position is $22.07 - $37.55. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $23.00 to $26.00. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive. Benefits Statement
