We're seeking a passionate Success Manager to join our growing Customer Success team and help fitness community hosts maximize their potential on SweatPals. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with fitness entrepreneurs and community leaders, helping them grow their businesses while building your career in customer success at a fast-growing startup. The Role
As a Success Manager at SweatPals, you'll own relationships with a portfolio of fitness community hosts, guiding them from onboarding through expansion. You'll be their trusted advisor, helping them leverage SweatPals' platform to grow their communities, increase revenue, and create amazing fitness experiences. This role combines relationship building, data analysis, and strategic thinking to drive mutual success. Key Success Metrics
You'll be measured on your ability to drive meaningful outcomes for both SweatPals and our community hosts: Maintain portfolio Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 50+ through exceptional host relationships Drive 110%+ Net Revenue Retention (NRR) by identifying expansion opportunities Achieve 115%+ Net Dollar Retention (NDR) through upsells and reduced churn Successfully onboard 8-12 new communities monthly Ensure hosts see first revenue within 14 days of onboarding Maintain 90%+ monthly active rate across your communities Key Responsibilities
Own Customer Relationships Manage a portfolio of 75-100 fitness community hosts across diverse fitness verticals Conduct engaging onboarding sessions for new hosts from yoga studios to CrossFit boxes Build strong relationships through regular check-ins and strategic business reviews Serve as the primary point of contact for your assigned accounts Drive Product Adoption & Growth Successfully launch and ramp multiple concurrent communities (8-12 monthly) Manage diverse portfolio including boutique studios, outdoor bootcamps, running clubs, and wellness practitioners Educate hosts on SweatPals features tailored to their specific business model Track and improve key adoption metrics across different community types Create customized success plans for each unique fitness vertical Be a Strategic Partner Analyze host data to provide actionable insights Share marketing and growth strategies that have worked for similar communities Connect hosts with relevant resources and other successful community leaders Proactively identify and address potential churn risks Champion the Customer Voice Gather and synthesize product feedback from your hosts Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to advocate for customer needs Contribute to the development of success resources and playbooks Share customer wins and success stories internally and externally Support Team Growth Help refine and improve success processes Mentor new team members as we scale Contribute to team knowledge base and best practices Participate in team initiatives and special projects What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
2-4 years of experience
in customer success, account management, or related customer-facing roles Proven track record
of managing customer relationships and driving retention Strong communication skills
with ability to build rapport quickly across diverse business types Data-driven mindset
with experience tracking NPS, retention, and expansion metrics Exceptional multitasking abilities
to manage concurrent community launches Genuine interest in fitness
and understanding of different fitness business models Problem-solving orientation
with ability to adapt strategies for various fitness verticals Experience with SaaS platforms
and ability to quickly learn new technologies Bachelor's degree
or equivalent experience Must be based in or willing to relocate to Austin, Texas
for in-person collaboration Bonus Qualifications
Experience in fitness, wellness, or community-focused companies Background working with small business owners or entrepreneurs Track record of achieving 100%+ net revenue retention Experience managing diverse customer portfolios Familiarity with event management or membership platforms Experience at early-stage startups Active participation in multiple fitness communities Spanish language fluency (many of our hosts serve bilingual communities) What Success Looks Like
In 30 Days: Complete onboarding and become proficient with SweatPals platform Shadow experienced Success Managers and begin taking on initial accounts Build relationships with first 20-30 hosts in your portfolio In 90 Days: Fully manage your portfolio with improving health metrics Complete successful onboarding for 15+ new hosts Identify and close first expansion opportunities Contribute insights that influence product roadmap In 6 Months: Achieve portfolio retention rate above team average Develop expertise in specific host segments or use cases Lead a team initiative or process improvement project Become a go-to resource for fitness community growth strategies The Rewards
