Cornerstones of Care is a mental and behavioral health nonprofit certified in trauma-informed care that provides evidence-based prevention, intervention, treatment, and support services to help children and families improve their safety and health by making positive changes in their lives. Each year, our team empowers children and families in Kansas, Missouri, and beyond through three key service areas: Youth & Family Support, Foster Care & Adoption, and Education & Community Trainings. We are seeking a Performance Improvement Specialist
Hall Grant to join our team. Your role will ensure quality services are provided to children and families and are served throughout Cornerstones of Care. The person in this position assesses and monitors programs to ensure the outcomes and process requirements of the contracts, accreditation, and licensure bodies are met. The Specialist will work with program staff of all levels to support, develop, and improve the quality of services being delivered to clients served. The person in this position is a strong analytical thinker and problem solver to be able to analyze the data received to report progress and performance trends and work collaboratively with staff of all levels to develop improvement plans when needed to ensure the best practices. As a member of the Performance Excellence/PQI team, you will work with other team members and report to our Manager of Performance Improvement. Essential Responsibilities: Compile, analyze, and share results and trends from monthly and quarterly reports for each program to report outputs and outcomes on performance measures and assist with internal programmatic benchmarking opportunities. Communicates data clearly using created charts and reports. Helps establish and monitor departmental goals and objectives. Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards for assigned programs. In collaboration with program leaders, evaluate and synthesize data trends to develop and implement improvement initiatives. Work collaboratively with the Cornerstones electronic health record (EHR) partner to develop reports and support utilization of full implementation for data integrity. Provide daily support to end users through troubleshooting, coaching, and consulting to facilitate the implementation, integration, and optimal use of Cornerstones of Care EHR. Modify and optimize EHR to improve workflow efficiency. Develop and test forms and reports as needed from HER. What You Will Bring: At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening. A valid driver's license, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation. Build and maintain cooperative and trusting relationships with staff of all levels, both internally and with external partners. Be very ethical in practice; do not put personal standards or bias into the analysis and reports completed; be respectful, reliable, and punctual in completing tasks, and promote an environment of teamwork. Ability to present information in front of other staff. Starting Salary: $18.00
