Community Education Program Coordinator
Reports to: Superintendent Supervises: Extended Day Personnel Summer Enrichment Personnel Responsibilities: Direct and supervise all self-supporting Community Education Programs Extended Day Programs 60% Summer Enrichment Camp 20% Parent Education/Training Programs 10% Business Partnerships 10% Seek funding through grant research and grant application
i.e. State Grants, Dependent Care Grants, Community Development Grants, etc. Documentation
Reports to State Department of Education, local agencies, and other entities Prepare and manage yearly Community Education Budget to ensure adequate funding to support labor, materials and resources. Prepares all Community Education payrolls submitted to the Payroll Supervisor Coordinates community and business partnerships that pertain to after school/summer services and parent events Prepare and manages funds and programs of any grant relating to after-school enrichment programs Interagency collaboration to coordinate programs and projects within the school and community Performs other duties assigned by Superintendent Other Skills: Must demonstrate patience in dealing with parents, children, and the community Must possess the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Must perform duties with awareness of Board of Education policies. Must demonstrate computer skills to generate reports, newsletters, brochures, and flyers utilized for programs. Terms of Employment: Compensation determined by current Administrative Salary Schedule 240 day assignment
