Mandarin Teacher
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Mandarin Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Mandarin Chinese, a deep understanding of effective language pedagogy, and a passion for inspiring students to learn about Chinese language and culture. This position requires creativity, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Duties will include, but not be limited to the following: Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate Mandarin language curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching materials. Instruct students in Mandarin Chinese listening, speaking, reading, and writing, as well as cultural understanding. Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress. Create a positive, supportive, and immersive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for language learning. Integrate cultural components into lessons to enhance students' understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture. Collaborate with other faculty and staff to support the overall educational goals of Liberation Academy. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration regarding student progress and classroom activities. Participate in professional development opportunities relevant to language instruction and pedagogy. Adhere to all school policies and procedures.
