Perform assembly and disassembly of various engines and their assemblies, accessory units, and driven equipment. Build complete engines and driven equipment prior to and after testing. Perform overhaul of engines, packages, and assemblies. Perform balancing of rotating parts and assemblies. What You Will Do
Assemble, tear down, reassemble, and rework complete engines, assemblies, subassemblies, accessory units, and driven equipment Utilizing a working knowledge of turbomachinery products and working from operational paper, blueprints, written and/or oral instructions, or photographs Disassemble and rebuild any Solar or customer turbomachinery product Balance a variety of parts, assemblies, and subassemblies to Solar standards Change accessible filters and lubricate own machine tools as required What You Have
High School diploma, GED or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience using power tools and other equipment to perform troubleshooting, repair, and installation Understanding of engineering schematics and blueprints Experience using general repair tools and equipment Ability to work overtime as needed Must be willing to work any shift Preferred Qualifications: 3-5 years of mechanical experience on Turbine equipment, installation, repair, and maintenance. Summary Pay Range: $23.00
