Modernization Project Manager

BAE Systems, one of the world's largest defense contractors and a stable Fortune 500 Company, is hiring a Modernization Project Manager. Responsibilities: You will work with subcontractors, in-house engineers, procurement and teammates within the Program Management group to ensure projects are on schedule, on budget and executed safely. You will report to the Radford Modernization Lead Program Manager and be responsible for the execution of various projects at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant (RFAAP). Required Education, Experience, & Skills: Bachelors Degree with 6+ years of experience or equivalent education/experience 4+ years experience managing programs and working with technical documentation including proposals. 3+ years experience as a manager on design and engineering, design-build, construction, engineer-procure-construct (EPC) projects. Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project. Experience working with subcontractors for a variety of construction and skilled trades. Experience creating and managing project schedules and project budget / financing. Experience in creating proposals and construction estimates. Experience leading and guiding a team of employees, focusing on their development, performance, and overall well-being within the organization. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills: Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI), PMBOK training or equivalent. Experience working on government contracts, ideally projects for the US Department of Defense. Strong financial background, Earned Value Management (EVM), AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, GIS, BlueBeam and chemical manufacturing industry experience Pay Information: Full-Time Salary Range: $105254 - $178931. Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
