System Test SME

Candidates must hold an active Secret Security Clearance or higher to be considered for this role. Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or other STEM field from an accredited college. Technical knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networks. Prior integration and test experience within the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. Nine years required. At least one year prior experience on the C2BMC program in any capacity. Self-starter with good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with the government customer as well as personnel internal and external to the program. The System Test Team conducts the planning and analysis of all MDS ground tests and flight tests in which the C2BMC program is a participant. Ground test types include: pairwise tests, Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI), Integrated Ground Test (GTI), Distributed Ground Test (GTD), cyber tests, Space Domain Awareness (SDA), and pre-flight test HWIL efforts. Flight tests are conducted with pre-determined sensors and shooters. International events are comprised of various ground tests and flight tests. The System Test SME is responsible for the planning of all assigned test events, with emphasis on developing and implementing the test artifacts required for each event: Test objectives Architectures Data Item Descriptions Defense Designs Sensor Resource Management (SRM) settings Operational Tasking Data Link (OPTASKLINK), Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI) configuration and Forwarding Tables, CDS, TDACS, TRAUT TDACS, Comms Connectivity Matrices, Event Configuration Baseline (ECB) System Adjustable Parameters (SAPs)/Site-Specific Parameters (SSPs) BDR and PR applicability Certification Data Packages The position also provides the following support: Support planning phase reviews and meetings Support customer boards and meetings Support Data Management Interface with developers Support government personnel during event execution phases when requested Support anomaly resolution and troubleshooting Support analysis group Support Failure Review Boards (FRBs) Possible infrequent OCONUS travel.
