The Division of Hospital Medicine, within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking an Administrative Assistant 3. The Division of Hospital Medicine is currently seeking a motivated self-starter who is interested in becoming a valued member of the team. This person should have excellent communication skills, value customer service, be detail oriented and have proven time management skills. Computer skills and basic math skills are essential. This candidate will perform a variety of administrative support duties for the Division to include: assist the Division Chief, reception duties, answering phones, filing, processing financial transactions, maintaining minutes of meetings, assisting with event planning, performing data entry, assist with faculty credentialing, maintaining schedules and provide assistance in areas of faculty recruitment-hiring-orientation. The Department of Internal Medicine is a large, progressive department with a diverse staff working in dedicated teams to provide quality work in an organized, effective and efficient manner through innovation, training, and education. Through our collaborative work effort, we support the faculty and enhance the missions of the department, school, Health Sciences Center and University. Come join our team! High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Requirements: Experience with purchasing and payment processing Experience with faculty recruitment and hiring Experience with processing faulty financial transactions within the Banner platform Experience working in an academic setting Experience with Division Executives (Division Chief, Section Chief) including: Calendars, scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes and special projects Experience with data analytics and reporting Experience in area of clinical provider credentialing Meeting and Event planning background Health Sciences Center (HSC) - Albuquerque, NM IM Hospital Medicine (852H) Staff Regular - Full-Time Non-Exempt Hourly: $17.39 - $22.37 This is a benefits eligible position.
