Assist with the operation of a multi-tank storage terminal consisting of truck loading racks, Rail Car terminal, and barge dock by performing loading/unloading activities of Butanes, Propane, Propylene, Natural Gasoline, and Condensate. Responsibilities
Assist with terminal/distribution operations by performing loading and unloading activities Monitor products transferred to and from tanks, vessels, or pipelines at terminal site Assist with terminal construction, repair work, and maintenance duties as needed maintaining equipment in operating condition Catch & run samples using Gas Chromatograph machine Blend, sample, and test all products to ensure specifications are met Maintain terminal records for stock control (inventory), station reads, regulatory/environmental reports, driver tickets, etc. Input information into RDTraxx ticketing system for truck and Rail Car (if applicable) Load/Unload trucks, Rail Cars, Ships, and barges as needed Assist customers and/or producers with any problems that may arise Special assignment duties and call out as required Schedule: 7 on/ 7 off, Days/Nights Rotation Qualifications
High School diploma or GED, required Minimum 1 year experience in terminal operations Valid driver's license TWIC Eligibility Required Must pass pre-employment drug screening and subject to random DOT drug screening Capable of lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds Capable of vigorous outdoor activities and have manual dexterity with physical ability to work extended hours, climbing, bending, kneeling, squatting, working with arms extended above the head, twisting upper body, standing for long periods, walking on catwalks. Following job related experience required: Experience operating and maintaining pipeline systems and related equipment utilized in natural gas and liquids gathering and transmission systems Experience in various field functions including measurement, cathodic protection, and compressor/pump station operations Experience in maintenance and the repair of equipment Experience, training and/or knowledge of: Company and governmental operating/safety procedures and environmental regulations Characteristics of natural gas and gas liquids Pigging pipelines, blowing drips, gauging tanks, and collecting liquids Construction methods Experience in patrolling pipelines, performing leakage surveys, and locating/marking lines Experience in working with valves and dehydration equipment, scrubbers, and separators Experience in use and function of applications such as: Microsoft Excel, Project, Access, Word, etc. Experience interacting, negotiating, advising and communicating effectively and in exchanging written and verbal information and instructions Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of: cathodic protection/corrosion control activities Ability to: use tools and equipment including computers and related software Ability to: establish, prioritize assignments and complete assignments in a timely manner with limited supervision Ability to: use logic and reasoning to identify alternate solutions or approaches to a problem Ability to: communicate thoughts, ideas, information, messages and other written information, which may contain technical material, in a logical, organized and coherent manner Ability to: apply the use of formulas to estimate or calculate flow rates and volumes Ability to: apply basic arithmetic to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Licenses and Certifications
