Personal Lines Account Manager

We're seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our dedicated team at a respected, independent insurance agency. In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of personal insurance clients, helping them protect what matters most through thoughtful coverage recommendations and reliable service. Key Responsibilities

Provide expert analysis of personal insurance policies; review coverage, limits, and exposures to make personalized recommendations. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by building and maintaining strong, ongoing relationships. Identify opportunities for new business from existing accounts and assigned leads to support growth goals. Collect client information and prepare applications for new and renewal policies. Generate accurate policy quotes based on client needs, available coverages, and carrier rates. Manage day-to-day account servicing activities, including preparing applications, invoices, and required documentation. Maintain up-to-date and accurate client records in the agency management system. Assist with premium collections as needed. Conduct yourself professionally, with a strong understanding of the financial and service impact of your work. Stay current on industry trends, carrier offerings, and market conditions to better serve clients and support agency profitability. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications

Prior experience servicing personal lines accounts at an independent insurance agency. Solid understanding of personal lines products, markets, and carrier guidelines. Proficient with electronic agency management systems (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic, etc.). Active Property & Casualty license preferredor must be obtained within 45 days of hire. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
