Medical Device Collection Program Manager

Responsible for medical device collection programs in hospitals throughout a defined region. Responsible for all implementation phases, collection systems, field employees and overall program maintenance. Main Responsibilities: Liaison with hospital staff to coordinate 'Go Live Days' for launching the reprocessing program. Create collection routes and schedules in order to utilize Collection Technician time as efficiently as possible. Quantify time necessary for Collection Technicians to properly execute Device Collection duties. Educate hospital staff on the reprocessing program. Trouble-shoot and resolve problems that arise in the collection systems. Collaborate with various sales teams to increase device collections. Guide sales team in focusing their education and selling time. Compile and monitor weekly status reports from Collection Technicians. Conduct periodic business reviews after the launch. Lead Collection Technicians through the process of becoming compliant with hospital credentialing requirements. Management responsibilities include: Typically oversees professional employees/teams OR typically manages non-professional employees through supervisors. Day-to-day operations of a group of employees. May have limited budgetary responsibility. Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects. Recommend and implement new policies or modifications. Provide general guidelines and parameters for staff functioning. Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff. Basic Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Relevant Work Experience: At least 5 years of experience in medical or sales environment. At least 1 year experience in a hospital or operating room setting. Certification / Licensure: Current valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, clean driving record, and ability to travel. Position requires credentialing/hospital certification to access assigned facilities. Additional: Experience communicating technical information to non-technical audiences. Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers. Experience accomplishing tasks in an optimum order. Position requires travel up to 80% of the time. Preferred Qualifications: Education: Bachelors' degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or medical field. Certification / Licensure: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification. Relevant Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience with Medical Devices and/or Device Reprocessing. Experience directly managing including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people. The anticipated salary range for this position is $85,280.00 - $123,760.00 Annual. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
