Trueline is seeking an Estimator to join their team in Franklin Park, IL. This is a unique opportunity to bring your pricing savvy and creative problem-solving to a highly collaborative, design-forward fabrication firm known for producing innovative structures for trade shows, retail environments, and live events. What You'll Do as the Estimator: Analyze project proposals and develop accurate estimates using established Excel-based models Collaborate with Sales, Project Managers, and Technical Designers to ensure quotes reflect true scope and feasibility Generate pricing for custom structures across various materials including wood, aluminum, and specialty finishes Adjust margins with leadership guidance and document all vendor costs and lead times Maintain accurate records of all estimates and revisions, and identify areas for improvement by reviewing actual vs. estimated outcomes Contribute to internal process enhancements and data analysis efforts Must-Haves as the Estimator: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort with ERP/CRM systems Proven analytical skills and commercial acumen Background in custom manufacturing, graphics, signage, or exhibit fabrication Ability to interpret sketches and technical drawings Excellent communication and collaboration skills Nice-to-Haves as the Estimator: Experience in theatrical set design, prop fabrication, or experiential environments Exposure to materials and processes such as powder coating, welding, or multi-material builds Trueline Offers: Competitive salary and benefits A creative, high-energy, employee-centric culture The chance to work with a tight-knit team producing nationally recognized work Growth opportunities in a PE-backed, globally respected organization
