Project Manager
Transpak seeks a highly organized and customer-focused Project Manager to drive customer success and market penetration. This role manages all aspects of customer accounts, from initial quoting and order processing through production, delivery, and ongoing support. The Project Manager partners closely with assigned sales representatives (freeing them to focus on new business development) and collaborates cross-functionally with global Transpak sites, sales, engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure seamless order execution, timely issue resolution, and consistent customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate possesses strong project management skills, experience in logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing, and excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities include managing customer relationships, coordinating internal resources, overseeing inventory planning, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery. This role requires the candidate to be based within daily commuting distance of Hayward CA, with frequent on-site presence. Key Responsibilities Leads customer account coordination across internal teams (sales, customer service, procurement, design, production/distribution) and external customers. Coordinates multi-functional, multi-geographic activities to ensure consistent customer experience and satisfaction. Manages quoting and reordering processes in partnership with the sales representative and Transpak sites (including procurement/suppliers for finished goods). Supports finished goods inventory planning, aligning manufactured and distributed products with customer forecasts (min/max management). Maintains and updates customer price lists. Collaborates with Transpak Procurement to engage and coordinate sourcing finished goods from external suppliers. Serves as the primary escalation point for customer issues, coordinating internal problem resolution (design/revision issues, product quality, etc.). Supports raw material and finished goods planning across Transpak sites. Executes customer supply agreements, where applicable. Prepares sales presentations and ensure timely completion of all materials. Coordinates QBR (Quarterly Business Review) material collection, schedules and prepares meetings with customers and the Transpak team. Ensures input data accuracy in company systems. Generates ad-hoc customer reports using systems like Sage, SEI, Tableau, PowerBI, etc. Attends customer meetings as needed. Occasional travel when required. Education/Knowledge/Skills/Experience Desired Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering) preferred. 2+ years of experience in project management, customer service, sales support, account management, or a related field within a manufacturing or distribution environment. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and with strong organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues effectively. Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external customers. Proficient in developing and delivering compelling presentations using PowerPoint. Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., Sage) and CRM software. Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) a plus. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders. A proactive and results-oriented approach with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, or logistics a plus. Annual Salary: $85,000 DOE
