An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Sr Advanced R&D Engineer/Scientist in the Hydroprocessing Development group within Honeywell UOP's Research and Development organization. In this role, you will be at the forefront of innovation, working with cross functional teams to develop cutting-edge catalysts and processes to produce both conventional and sustainable fuels. You will report directly to the Manager of the Hydroprocessing group and work from either the Des Plaines or McCook, IL sites on a hybrid schedule. Key responsibilities include: Lead the development of technologies in the Hydroprocessing area from concept to commercialization Work with business counterparts to develop and successfully enact growth strategies Manage the design, planning, and execution of experimental programs using pilot plants and/or models for new product development, capability, and sales support projects. Provide support to Technical Service in troubleshooting and optimizing performance on commercial units. Provide support to the Sales Support and Engineering functions to improve the competitiveness of commercial offerings and designs. Identify novel technology solutions and author invention disclosures to contribute to the innovation effort at Honeywell UOP. Conduct assessments to monitor the competition landscape and propose projects to bridge any identified gaps. The annual base salary range for this position is $122,000-153,000.
