Maintenance Associate

The Maintenance Associate is responsible for conducting all scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance on equipment and facility while following safety rules, meeting productivity standards and achieving attendance requirements. Maintenance

Performs all scheduled preventative maintenance to keep machinery in good operational condition Performs facility maintenance Performs troubleshooting and repairs of equipment for all non-preventative maintenance as requested via work request Participates in special projects such as 5S, Lean, Kaizen, ergonomics and others, as requested Performs required maintenance, replaces worn parts such as blades and bits and appropriate and required Cross-trains for other positions to provide support to other production teams or functions, as needed Quality

Maintains accurate and detailed records on all machinery repairs in maintenance tracking system Safety & Organization

Maintains a clean work area for safe and efficient operation Inspects equipment to ensure safe operations Follows all safety requirements for machine operations Wears appropriate safety equipment at all times Minimum Education

High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent Minimum Special Certifications or Technical Skills

2 years of experience in manufacturing or equipment maintenance PLC trouble-shooting Other

Must possess valid state/provincially-issued drivers' license and minimum state/provincially-required auto insurance Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English fluently; convey and receive information effectively Ability to accurately read a tape measure and ruler Must be able to accurately read calipers Must be able to safely operate power and hand tools Preferred Education

2-year degree or technical certificate; equivalent maintenance experience Physical Requirements

Constantly walk, occasionally stand and climb Frequently bend from waist and twist Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs/23.6kgs from floor to overhead Occasionally reach horizontally and overhead Constantly push/pull using total body and upper extremities, from floor to overhead, and occasionally reach horizontally Feel with the touch of the fingers Occasionally grasp, carry, and push with both hands Review physical requirements matrix for all requirements Work Environment
