mid-level Associate Attorney
to join their
Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Patent Prosecution Practice Group . This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated attorney to work on cutting-edge technologies and high-value patent portfolios for a sophisticated client base.
Candidate Profile
JD
from a
top-tier law school
with a
strong academic record . Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction , in good standing. 3+ years
of
relevant patent preparation
and
prosecution experience
at a
law firm
of comparable rank. Undergraduate or Advanced Degree
in one of the following is required:
Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics.
USPTO Admission
is
required . Patent prosecution experience
in the following is
strongly preferred :
Machine learning/artificial intelligence/neural networks, Radio frequency circuitry, Hardware and/or communications security (encryption/decryption).
Ability to quickly master and communicate complex technical subject matter. Soft Skills: Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications
covering advanced electrical and software-related technologies. Manage
patent prosecution
projects for a sophisticated, global client base. Align patent strategies with client innovation and business objectives. Collaborate across offices and practice groups to deliver integrated intellectual property solutions. Serve as a strategic advisor to clients on
portfolio development and protection .

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Compensation : Includes an annual salary range of
$240,000-$365,000 , depending on experience and market factors. Eligibility for a discretionary
bonus . Comprehensive Benefits:
