ESC has an exciting opportunity for a
Senior Application Analyst
to support our premier healthcare client's team. As a
Senior Application Analyst , you will play a critical role in translating business and clinical needs into system solutions. You'll be responsible for analyzing requirements, designing and supporting application systems, leading testing efforts, and ensuring that applications meet both technical standards and user expectations. This position starts as a
3-month contract opportunity , working
fully remote.
Major Responsibilities:
Develops technical and non-technical solutions for moderate to complex business needs. Analyzes, designs, configures, tests, and maintains assigned applications. Supports and troubleshoots applications; responds to end-user calls and technical issues as needed. Communicates effectively with users and technical teams regarding requirements, training, and support. Serves as a liaison between business units and IT to provide efficient, user-centered technical solutions. Evaluates vendor software and enhancements to ensure alignment with technical standards. Analyzes operations to identify automation opportunities and assists in business process redesign. Prepares and manages project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets. Coordinates system development, implementation, and maintenance to ensure system availability and data integrity. Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business process mapping, analysis, defining requirements, system testing, and documentation. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proficient in application systems, operating systems, databases, and interface design. Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members. Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills. Capable of translating business/user requirements into detailed system specifications. Knowledge of change management practices and application lifecycle processes. Proficient in MS Office and general productivity tools.
