Key Responsibilities: Leads practical applications of scientific theory and unusually complex processes in the development and ongoing technical management of the unit's product line Leads research, development and implementation in new products and extensions or enhancements to existing product line Interact with key customers to resolve unusually complex process engineering issues for the unit's product line to address our customers High Value Problems (HVP) Leads alpha engineering program regarding all process technology related issues for the units product line Responsible for alpha and beta product release for business unit's product line Participates in strategic planning to integrate research and development processes with both the unit and the Product Business Group's overall business plan Identify, select and work with vendors and suppliers Functional Knowledge: Recognized as "guru" or external expert in a function Demonstrates broad and comprehensive expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques and/or technologies within own field Business Expertise: Influences internal/external business and/or regulatory issues that have an impact on the business Leadership: Leads highly visible multidisciplinary project teams or initiatives; provides thought leadership Problem Solving: Proactively identifies and solves the most complex problems; uses ground-breaking methods to think beyond existing solutions Impact: Impacts business direction through the development of innovative services or products Interpersonal Skills: Negotiates with senior management, customers, regulators or vendors to influence decisions Time Type: Full time Employee Type: Assignee / Regular Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time Relocation Eligible: Yes The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
