Our Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Training Representative or Principal Training Representative to join our ASTAR (Aeronautics Systems Training for Advanced Refinement) team in Palmdale, CA. Essential Functions: Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel. Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities. Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques. Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments. May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors develop and/or administer training programs. May be responsible for the development of e-learning programs. Basic Qualifications for Training Representative: Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Military experience; or Master's Degree with 0 years of Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Military experience Experience with industrial equipment (Cranes, forklifts, etc.) Strong presentation and public speaking skills required Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and strong verbal communication skills Must be a customer-oriented team player, able to interact with staff members in a team environment productively Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret or Top-Secret Clearance, as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
