Afterschool Program Coordinator
St. HOPE Public Schools is seeking a full time Afterschool Program Coordinator to work with TK-8 scholars. Candidates must hold the belief that all children can succeed academically and socially and this belief must drive him or her to be relentless in his or her work. Hours can range from 10:00am - 6:30 pm, depending on school day. Responsibilities of the Afterschool Program Coordinator will include: Communicate regularly with the Director on all issues related to the effective operation of the program and assure that programming is in full compliance with St. Hope's policies and procedures; as well as district, federal, state, local and accreditation regulations, requirements and/or criteria. Manage program to guarantee it meets St. Hope's, and school district goals and objectives including enrollment, retention, completion, placement, instructor qualifications, and family satisfaction. Intentionally build collaborative partnerships essential to St. Hope and its strategic plan. Collaborate with the Director to ensure the ASP meets financial goals including expenses and payroll. Support regular communication with principals to engage them in the after school program and build youth success. Ability to follow daily schedule. Communicate any potential high risk employee/student issues to the Director in a timely manner. Build curriculum tailored to after school. Make recommendations of annual plans for the program that include professional development, curriculum and expenses to the Director. Assist in the support of Sr. Team Leaders and Team Leaders at his/her campus. Submit required attendance reports in a timely and accurate manner. Participate in the selection, motivation, and evaluation of qualified and competent academic and other employees. Inventory and monitor the regular maintenance of equipment and supplies. Ensure all work spaces are clean and in good repair. Participate in ongoing professional development and training. Assure all Human Resources policies are implemented properly and followed consistently. Treat all employees fairly, equitably, and with respect and dignity. Ability to step in for a team lead if they are absent. Partnership with outside external contractors and providers. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications We are seeking a results-driven leader committed to the St. HOPE Public Schools mission, high expectations and his or her own professional growth.
