We're looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative (PSR) to be the welcoming face of our clinic. In this vital role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and visitors - helping to create a positive, professional, and efficient front desk experience. Recognizing your skills and dedication Qualifications: Advanced Patient Service Representative Education: High school diploma or equivalent Current Patient Service Reps who are moving to Advanced title on the career ladder must complete both Patient Service Rep and Advanced PR competencies prior to being promoted. What You'll Do Creating a Positive First Impression: Greet patients warmly, verify their identity, and ensure a smooth and respectful check-in experience. Supporting Front Desk Operations: Answer phones, manage Epic chart creation, process mail, scan documents, and handle faxes with accuracy and discretion. Coordinating Patient Flow: Facilitate efficient check-ins, check-outs, and appointment scheduling to keep the day running smoothly. Maintaining Provider Schedules: Monitor and update provider calendars, correct registration errors, and manage work queues. Collaborating Across Teams: Communicate with clinical staff and departments to support seamless, coordinated care. Scheduling and Compliance: Schedule procedures and testing, provide good faith estimates, and ensure full compliance with the No Surprises Act. Resolving Patient Concerns: Address questions and concerns with empathy, escalating issues when needed to ensure patient satisfaction. Handling Financial Transactions: Balance your cash drawer, manage accounts receivable, and assist patients with payment plans. Protecting Patient Privacy: Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR while strictly adhering to HIPAA regulations and safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times. Supporting Office Operations: Operate and maintain office equipment, stay current on Epic updates, and assist with new initiatives. Upholding Safety and Privacy Standards: Ensure the reception area is clean, safe, and welcomingwhile prioritizing infection control, safety protocols, and patient privacy. Contributing to Team Success: Participate in team meetings, stay informed through internal communications, and actively support continuous improvement efforts.
