Ensure that all guests have an enjoyable round of golf. That all groups do their best to keep the pace of play required, and to make sure all players apply proper course etiquette. Qualifications

All part-time and seasonal staff in this role are obligated to be available for all holidays during the season. Although you may not work on every holiday weekend you must be available. These major holidays include Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday. The golf course is closed on Christmas Day. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Must monitor course GPS system for pace of play, problems and cart traffic violations using golf shop iPad or other mobile device and take corrective action immediately. 100-yard zone responsible for the appearance of anything within 100 yards of you at all times. Greet all players in a friendly manner while being sure that they are fully informed on the 1st tee of pace of play policies, course conditions, yardage markers, rest room locations and all other pertinent information. Make players aware of position on the golf course. Enforce golf rules as necessary in a diplomatic and tactful manner. Contact the golf shop if any group cannot or will not speed up to adhere to pace policies. Fix ball marks on greens. Rake sand bunkers. Repair divots. Pick up all trash. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED or one to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills

Ability to comprehend and communicate either verbal in English and non-verbal methods. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, short correspondence, memos, and respond in writing. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and associates. Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals. Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Valid Driver's License and clean Motor Vehicle Report for 3 years. Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push or pull. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, climb or balance, and taste and smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemical, and extreme heat or cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
