Part Time On Call Van Driver
The Facilities Management department at Mount Holyoke College is seeking a responsible and professional Part-Time On-Call Driver. Our department supports the entire campus community by maintaining over 2,000,000 square feet of property in 60+ major buildings and over 300 acres. The Part-Time On-Call Driver will be responsible for operating college-owned vehicles, including 7 and 12-passenger vans, to support a variety of college-sponsored events and activities, both on and off campus. This is an on-call position, with hours scheduled on an as-needed basis. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Drive college-owned vehicles for college-sponsored activities as scheduled. Assignments may include, but are not limited to, acting as back-up for campus mail delivery, Access Ride vehicle transportation, Admissions transportation, or off-campus trips. Occasional overnight trips may be required. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Valid Commonwealth of Massachusetts Driver's license is required. Must possess an excellent driving record. Must demonstrate superior judgment and drive with utmost care. Must maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service at all times. Ability to travel for occasional overnight trips is essential. Must successfully complete the College's driver credentialing program. Must provide a copy of RMV driving record.
