Accounting Position

Since integrating with our therapeutic development business, Fulgent is also developing drug candidates for treating a broad range of cancers using a novel nanoencapsulation and targeted therapy platform. By merging our fields of expertise, we aim to become a fully integrated precision medicine company. Summary Of Position
This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for various areas relating to month-end/year-end closing, including working with Fulgent's independent registered public accounting firm to ensure that the financial statements present fairly, in all material respects, in conformity with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States (U.S. GAAP) and SEC Regulations. This role will also participate in advising management on complex transactions from an accounting perspective. This position requires significant interaction with individuals internal and external to the organization, including senior management, independent auditors and other service providers. This position requires the ability to research accounting guidance, and interpret transactions in a clear and concise manner for multiple audiences. This position also requires the ability to acquire and appropriately apply knowledge of the following accounting functions: Knowledge/Experience
Bachelor's degree with major in accounting. 4+ years of progressive experience. Accounting experience for public companies and big-four or mid-size accounting firm required. CPA is highly preferred with experience in public accounting and auditing. Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus. Additional Skills
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP. Extensive experience in month-end closing either from preparation or auditing standpoint. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Demonstrate a high level of integrity to be able to adhere to regulations and its total compliance. Effective planning and organizational skills; results oriented; and possess the ability to competently manage multiple priorities. Ability to handle stress and work well under pressure and tight deadlines. Commitment to positive teamwork and high level of attention to detail. Environment
