Warehouse Manager
Directs warehousing activities for organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates while maintaining all Sharp standards including
Standard Operating Procedures and company policies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following is a list of minimum responsibilities related to the Warehouse Manager position. Other duties may also be assigned. Responsible for administration of Sharp's Free Trade Zone (FTZ) and coordination with Sharp's FTZ Vendor. Duties include verification of US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) documentation, use of the FTZ software for administrative purposes, and reporting/auditing as requested and required by CBP. Coordinate periodic inventory cycle counts in warehouse, as required by Sharp or at the request of customers. Adjust inventory as needed and escalate variances that exceed $500. Track and report Kep Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics on a scheduled basis that detail daily warehouse operations. Use metrics to identify trends and create proactive plans for managing warehouse space, resources and properly functioning logistics between warehouses. Escalate and communicate all warehouse strains to proactively manage warehouse utilization. Proactively evaluate daily staffing and resource needs and shift resources as needed to maintain a properly functioning infrastructure to the warehouse system in Allentown. Qualifications:

Ensure inbound and outbound shipments from all sites are performing to standards in a smooth and controlled manner. Ensure delivery of components to support production sites to meet a 4-hr. timeline from request to delivery. Escalate occasional component deliveries to aid production as needed. Inspect the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment and ensure that forklift inspections are conducted daily, and actions are taken to maintain high standards of cleanliness and order. Prepare work order for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment. Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, records control and purchasing. Manage and coordinate movement of raw materials and finished goods between all Allentown sites and Conshohocken and finished goods shipment from Allentown. Direct the salvage of damaged or used material. Participate in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities. Ensure all employees comply with all safety activities by doing weekly spot checks to identify shortfalls. Maintain up-to-date training compliance for all employees to meet the demands of changing procedures and company policies. Investigate events of non-conformance and recommend solutions to those events. Maintain the QMS to minimize corrective actions that are outstanding and especially those past due. Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manage staff coverage and staffing levels of Allentown campus, including operation of AS-RS warehousing system and all Allentown warehouse sites. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Preferred / Required Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and/or Warehouse Management or 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 5 years Warehouse Management experience. APICS certification Physical Demands:
