Microcomputer Applications Current need for on-campus instructors: Winter 2025 semester: On-campus classes meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 am to 12:50 pm and 1 pm to 2:50 pm. Note: On-campus courses are generally held between 9 am and 4 pm Monday through Thursday with class days/times varying depending upon sections offered. Classification: Part-Time, on a semester basis FLSA Status: Exempt Compensation: 2025 Academic Year Master's degree (or higher) rate = $631 per contact hour Bachelor's degree rate = $578 per contact hour Contact hours vary depending on course offering General Information: Courses in the Computer Information Systems discipline include courses in application, operating systems, software development/programming, hardware, security, and networking. A course in office productivity software (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access) is a common first teaching assignment in this discipline. Teaching assignment may include a full range of undergraduate courses within the Computer Information Systems program. Teaching responsibilities include teaching, maintaining scheduled office hours, and advising students. Participation in developing and improving academic courses.
