The Customs Entry Writer is responsible for filing entries with US Customs and other government agencies, and interacting with importers, government agencies, truckers, and warehouses via email and telephone. Experience with CargoWise software is preferred. Essential Job Functions
Clear goods through customs, working with agencies such as FDA, EPA, LACEY, USDA, etc. Classify goods according to the tariff coding system. Prepare and process import documentation in compliance with customs regulations, laws, and procedures. Bill customers. Monitor or trace the location of goods. Assist clients in obtaining bonds and other necessary documentation. Arrange for transportation or warehousing of imported products. Qualifications and Education Requirements
3+ years of experience in processing Customs entries in ACE PGA process for Medical Device, Food items etc. FTZ, Inbond process is desired Operation background to handle air / ocean import arrangement. Above average skills with MS OFFICE SUITE: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams Professional communication skills, both verbal and written. Proven understanding of the Customs entry process requirements and flow. Customer-focused, can-do and learn attitude. Ability to follow standard operating procedures specific to a clients Experience with CargoWise software is preferred. Compensation
$28.75-$33.75 per hour. We consider a variety of factors in determining base compensation including but not limited to, experience, education, certifications, internal equity, market data and geography. Location
