Global Product Manager, Legacy
This position will lead and support the commercial marketing initiatives of the Legacy portfolio within the Teleflex Surgical Business Unit. The Legacy portfolio of the Surgical Business Unit includes several key product lines such as Pleur-evac Chest Drainage System, Arrow Cholangiography catheters, Weck Visistat Skin stapler, Aortic Punch, Sutures and Trocars. The candidate will ensure coordination between all necessary Teleflex internal and external groups, such as the sales team, project teams, and external vendors, to help ensure best-in-class commercialization. This position will require strong experience in commercializing products in healthcare, along with deep expertise in running campaigns, promotions, developing collateral etc. The ideal candidate will be highly proactive and possess deep passion to help ensure commercial excellence for a key growth franchise within the Surgical business unit. We're looking to hire a dynamic individual who's willing to define and ensure commercial excellence of our legacy products, thereby positively shaping the future of these product families. The role creates, manages and executes initiatives associated with product launches (as needed) and handle other campaigns and promotions, as required. We take pride in our cross functional execution and the right candidate shall actively partner with the Sales organization to ensure the execution and implementation of his/her commercial marketing strategies. Principal Responsibilities
Develop and execute tactical commercial plans for individual product lines with complete Sales alignment
Develop and manage programs to increase penetration and drive sales of both new & existing products
customer segmentation, targeting, marketing campaigns, collateral and product promotions
Develop and localize regional sales training, education, promotional materials and programs, wherever applicable
Plan and attend major conventions and regional meetings as required
Lead Commercial planning and execution for our Legacy portfolio in North America while supporting regional marketing needs of the products, as needed
Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to support yearly strategic plan for Legacy portfolio
Support North America forecasting
Be a team player and take on additional responsibilities as required
Adhere to and ensure the adherence of Teleflex Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards Education / Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree
5+ years marketing experience required
2+ years of clinical experience with surgical medical devices in the OR setting preferred
Experience in local brand marketing (line marketing) with responsibility for a brand or portfolio of brands within a country or region preferred Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
Strategic thinker with a strong track record of high-quality execution
A quick learner with an ability to plan and prioritize projects across multiple product lines
An energetic professional eager to rethink commercial marketing initiatives such as campaigns, collateral and product promotions for multiple portfolios
Ability to work with colleagues across cross-functional teams (Sales, R&D, Operations, Regulatory Affairs etc.) to drive consensus on campaigns, collateral and promotions
Advanced communication skills resulting in the ability to gain alignment with senior management and to work with colleagues to drive consensus on commercial launch planning
Experience in insights generation, brand messaging, along with development and deployment of new launch capsules/packets
Understands the medical device new product development processes and the medical regulatory environment
Self-starter, knows how to approach the job, passionate about the industry
Able to work in a lean environment without a large infrastructure behind him/her
Willing to create and fix processes when and where necessary for success
