The Technical Writer and Editor will play a key role in shaping and maintaining the clarity, accuracy, and compliance of technical documentation. This position ensures that documents support cross-functional alignment and meet internal and regulatory standards. This role will collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and regulatory teams while also contributing to document control workflows. What You'll Do

Track, review, and route documents for approval, revision, and archival in accordance with company procedures and standards. Work with engineering, quality, regulatory, and project teams to ensure timely documentation support and updates. Assist in the development and editing of technical documents, specifications, procedures, and forms in accordance with company procedures and standards. Translate complex, technical concepts into clear, concise, and audience-appropriate content. Assist with document control responsibilities, including the following: Maintain, organize, and manage controlled documents within the document management system (Siemens Teamcenter). Coordinate document numbering, formatting, and metadata to ensure consistency and traceability. Work in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Qualifications

Required Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in technical writing and/or editing within a regulated or engineering-focused industry. Proficient in technical writing, editing, and formatting documents with strong attention to detail. Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and excellent communication skills. Preferred

Knowledge of change management workflows and revision control systems. Experience supporting engineering teams in highly regulated environments. Understanding of drawing and specification control, including revision history and distribution management. Familiarity with ASME, ISO, or DOE/NRC documentation requirements. Experience with Siemens Teamcenter or a comparable PLM/document control platform strongly preferred.
