Flexographic Press Operator
The Flexographic Press Operator operates a flexographic printing press to produce high-quality labels that meet the production schedule and customer requirements. Experience Requirements: At least 1+ year of Flexographic Printing experience. Shift Available: Friday, Saturday 6:00pm-6:00am & Sunday 6:00pm-5:30am. (This shift comes with a 6.00-hour premium for 34.00+ worked hours and a $2.00/hour shift differential) Training Shift: TBD. Pay: Based on experience. Produce labels that match customer signed proofs and color standards. Follow established quality management system procedures. Communicate job-specific information or changes to the supervisor in a timely manner to minimize production downtime. Complete quality documents to ensure adherence to procedures. Inspect and clean press parts regularly and report a need for repairs/maintenance. Adhere to all established safety practices. Maintain a clean work area. Desired Traits/Requirements Detailed-oriented and capable of following standard work instructions. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Ability to communicate and work with co-workers effectively. Physical Demands While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Vision abilities required to perform this job include close vision. The employee may be required to lift up to 45 lbs.
